Angus Braidwood and Son......

Angus Braidwood and Son is Central Scotlands top metal recycler. We have been established in our base in Fakirk for over 40 years, and now along with our yard in Bonnybridge we are able to ensure that we can meet all metal and car recycling needs.

Angus Braidwood and Son was established in 1960 as a small family business dealing with scrap metal in Falkirk. In the last 40years the business has grown to become one of the most recognised scrap metal merchants in Central Scotland. During this time the company has held contracts with various agencies and with government at both a local and national level, but still maintaining its family outlook on the business.

In 2001 we opened a second yard in Bonnybridge specifially to deal with ELV vehicles and also for spare parts. Realising that deliquidsing and disposal of ELV vehicles was a major enviromental issue the site was the first in scotland to install a deliquidising centre. In time this has increased to a double deliquidising centre to enable the company to stay at the forefront of this enviromental issue.
